If you have a few ripe bananas and a few walnuts at home, we suggest you get to work with these Banana Walnut Muffins.
This rich and exquisite recipe looks great, and is also ideal for breakfast, afternoon tea or a snack for children.
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup of chopped walnuts
- 1 1/2 cups of flour
- 2 tablespoons (soup) of brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons (soup) of common sugar
- 110 gr butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
The banana or banana is a fruit that contains vitamins A and C, minerals, high antioxidant value, fiber and folic acid. It is a beneficial fruit for both pregnant women and children, while walnuts are the nuts with the most antioxidants and the best quality. That said, we hope you like this recipe.
1- In a bowl, sift the flour, salt, bicarbonate and the two sugars.
2- In another bowl, mix the melted butter or margarine, the crushed bananas, the milk and the egg.
3- Mix one mixture with the other and add half of the walnuts.
4- Arrange the mixture in 3/4 of the paper or silicone muffin molds.
5- Distribute the rest of the walnuts over the muffins.
6- Take the molds to the oven preheated to 180 degrees, and bake for about 25 minutes. We already have our banana and walnut muffins.
