Do not let them return home when there is no sunlight, agree on the schedules and always respect the return time that you impose on them.

- Get to a middle ground
Surely every time they ask you to delay their arrival time at home, they argue that they leave more for others. Try to get somewhere in between, a reasonable time for both of you. Tell them about the possible dangers, but without transmitting too much anguish, justifying your protection.

- Let them do chores around the house
Autonomy is also achieved by being co-responsible at home. Do you think they are not able to put a washing machine? You just have to explain to them how the clothes are separated, how to add detergent and fabric softener and which program they should choose. Give them responsibilities and you will raise mature and responsible children! And, above all, they will get used to that day when they have to stay home alone.
