  • 250 gr of minced meat
  • 2 aubergines
  • 200 gr of crushed tomato
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 250 gr of bechamel
  • 100 gr of cheese to gratin
  • 1 meat lozenge (knorr or avecrem)
  • Salt
  • Oil

On this occasion, we offer you a basic recipe that is very easy to prepare, ideal for children.

1- Wash the aubergines well and cut them into slices of more or less 0.5 cm.

2- On a sheet of kitchen paper, arrange the slices of aubergines and sprinkle them with salt so that they "sweat". After a few minutes, dry the aubergines, one by one, with kitchen paper and reserve them.

3- In a frying pan, fry the onion and garlic cloves, minced. When it begins to have color, add the meat and mix well so that the pieces of meat are loosened. Add the meat pill, the crushed tomato, the salt and pepper to your liking.

4- While the meat is being cooked, fry the slices of aubergines in plenty of hot oil, in another pan. When they take color on both sides, remove them from the oil and let them drain on kitchen paper.

5- Spread a baking dish with oil and start to assemble the layers of the moussaka, as is done with lasagna.

6- First the bottom of the mold is lined with a layer of eggplant slices, then another layer of meat and one thing and another is intercalated, finally putting a layer of eggplant.

7- Cover everything with the bechamel sauce and take the mold to the preheated oven, at 180 degrees, for about 30 minutes. When you notice that the béchamel begins to take color, spread the grated cheese on top of the lasagna. Leave a few more minutes and the moussaka will be ready. Hummm… we can already smell its smell… Good appetite!
